The Diocese of New York & New Jersey’s Department of Youth Ministry has as its singular goal to encourage the young people of our diocesan parishes to fully participate in the life of the Church through worship, witness, service, and fellowship.  The ministry encompasses a broad range of activities and age groups.  It is also committed to help train youth leaders, organize events, provide consultation for youth leaders and pastors across the diocese, and oversee future programs for our diocesan young people.

Our leadership team recognizes that we live in a fast-paced world that places competing demands on everyone, especially our youth.  Perhaps now more than ever, it is critical to involve our children and teens in the life of the Church, and to create activities that will make them feel excited about their Faith!  

Check out our "Events" tab.  Please explore these opportunities and plan to attend.  Invite your friends!  All of our activities are designed based on the feedback our leadership team receives from program participants. Through these events it is our hope that our youth's faith will be strengthened, that they will foster new friendships, that they will bond over their commonalities, have fun, and learn something new.
